The People's Table

"Peoples Table is a celtic style service and communion. A less formal style of worship, the Peoples Table is warm and welcoming and invites input from the people present. Beginning with a simple bring and share meal and a chance to talk, we move into the worship area for a service which draws on the Iona style of worship, and often with a progressive influence.

The service includes a theme and reflection, where participants are invited to share their thoughts, feelings and ideas in a respectful, compassionate space. Communion of home-baked bread is shared and a song is sung, often with live accompaniment from musicians in the group.

The service is held every two months on a Sunday evening between 5pm and 7pm with special feasts for Easter and Christmas."
