This very exciting concert was the debut of the Glossop Festival Orchestra and featured leading musicians from around the country, 
including principals of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Royal Opera House, BBC Philharmonic and featuring principal flute of the Hallé Orchestra, Katherine Baker and internationally renowned pianist Viv McClean. A concert of this calibre is rare anywhere outside the capital. It was a fabulous evening.
