We run regular programmes to help participants develop their spirituality and knowledge of Christianity and its relevance for contemporary life.

Living the Questions

 In autumn 2013 we completed a two year cycle of Living the Questions. Over thirty people were involved in this course and there are plans to run it again in the future.

Eclipsing Empire

Common Ground

is an ecumenical study, reflection and discussion group meeting at Central Methodist Church, Glossop on the first Friday of the month with participants from several churches and traditions in Glossopdale. New people are always welcome. We meet at 12 noon with our packed lunches and then the session runs from 12.45 to 2.00pm.

During Lent 2014 we have met weekly to look at the Council of Churches for Britain and Ireland course, 'Parables and Possessions'.

The dates for the next few months are:
    • 2nd May - planning meeting
    • 6th June - visit to Manchester City Art Gallery. Meet at 10.00am at Glossop Railway Station
    • 4th July - tbc
    • No meeting in August
